England Six Nations Squad

Eddie Jones has named his squad for this season Six Nations and there are a few surprise selections.

Eddie Has named 8 uncapped players in his squad, alongside some strong experienced players Eddie Jones has picked a strong balance of youth and experience.

Some surprise exclusions from the squad include Dan Cole, Ben Spencer and the biggest surprise for me is Mark Wilson who has performed brilliantly in the back row since he first pulled on the England jersey.

These players make way for some brilliant young talent from around the Premiership including Ben Earl, Tom Dunn and Jacob Umaga.

For me there are some selections that do surprise me, Ben Youngs is a surprise and i certainly would of considered Ben Spencer over Youngs.

Also the exclusion of Alex Dombrandt is a surprise as many would argue he is the form number eight in the Premiership so fair and with Billy Vunipola out injured it would of been a good chance for Dombrandt.

Eddie has again made a statement with his selection picking a large number of uncapped players for the squad , the squad itself is a largely inexperienced squad with a small selection of experienced players in Key positions, with Youngs likely to start at 9 with Ford and Farrell controlling the midfield. the Youth will be balanced out by some top experience on the pitch.
