Borthwick joins Leicester Tigers as head coach

Steve Borthwick will join Leicester tigers at the end of this season, leaving his role as England coach, Borthwick will join Leicester as Head Coach and this will see Geordan Murphy stepping into his new role as Director of Rugby.

This is all a new and exciting move for Leicester and with this new combination experience and some superb technical expertise this is a move that will hopefully see Leicester start to make their way back up the table and to winning ways.

Borthwick brings with him a wealth of experience acquired from a fantastic playing career and more recently a brilliant coaching career. With knowledge of more than just the forwards game Borthwick is one of the most talented up and coming coaches in the game. He will be working with another great young coach in Geordan Murphy who is Leicester though and though and with this mix of Leicester passion and game expertise they will be a coaching team to reckon with and could do great things for the club.

With the future of the club safe in the Premiership due to Saracens being relegated already the Tigers are well placed to make movements back up the table before the new future begins next season.
